Governor to appear at water rally There will be a large water rally and press conference on Friday, Oct. 9, in Sacramento for a final push to get the Legislature to act on a package of water bills. Governor Schwarzenegger, along with the California Latino Water Coalition, will appear on the east steps of the capitol at 2:30 p.m. to send a message to the Legislature that California’s water supply system is broken and needs to be fixed - now. You are encouraged to attend and support the Governor’s final push for legislative action during the current legislative session. If you are coming from the San Joaquin Valley please bring people with you. This may be the last opportunity for a large show of public support this legislative year on a comprehensive water solution. Show up and be heard!
